Starmaster Portable Telescopes

As an avid observer myself, I'm always on the lookout for "goodies" that make observing easier, more comfortable, or more enjoyable. Many times, I just couldn't find exactly what I needed, so I ended up making it myself.

The observing aid I'm the most proud of, is the Sky Tracker add-on accessory for our telescopes. This device interfaces with a standard Sky Commander digital setting circle unit at give the telescope TRUE goto and full tracking abilities. NO external computer or platform is needed. You have to check this out -- it's the bee's knees!

The other observing aid we manufacture is the Star Step Observing Chair. I just can't imagine an evening of observing without this dandy chair/step stool combination.
